Originally a grocery and cosmetics vendor, the company pivoted to pharmaceutical wholesaling following an epidemic in 1885, eventually merging into Kobayashi Seiyaku Co., Ltd in the 20th century. With a legacy of innovation and expansion, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical has grown into a conglomerate specializing in pharmaceuticals and daily necessities.
